The 2004 Argentiera is sweet and layered in its dark cherries
It feels like this 2018 vintage is still warming up and is slowly putting on volume and weight
and violet and mineral accents emerge as the wine stretches out
I would drink it before many of the other vintages that surround it
particularly on the superbly complex and highly persistent finish
Hundred Acre, Cabernet Sauvignon Few and Far Between Vintage:2014 The 2004 Argentiera is sweetMedium to deep garnet colored, the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Few and Far Between features beautiful red roses, Ceylon tea and sandalwood notions with tar, earth and charcuterie hints in the background plus accents of iron ore, pencil shavings and forest floor. The palate is full bodied, concentrated and firmly structured with fantastically ripe, grainy tannins and seamless freshness delivering a very long, vibrantly fruited finish.
